Videos with the dance couples

1 June 2023

Ibrahim, who has been blind since birth, learns the pas atras using a table. Constantijn, who can see, does the same steps next to him, but without the table.

4 couples are dancing, Saïd improvises, while Kim, who can see, tries to help Sabine. However, Michèle prefers that the whole group moves in sync and that individual help is not given.

Michèle provides an inclusive explanation of the "El doce" figure.

Michèle dances with Larissa, everyone is dancing to the music. Everyone is doing the line exercise.

There are 4 dance couples: one couple with 1 blind and 1 sighted, one couple where both dancers can see, one couple where both dancers are blind, and Michèle dancing with one blind woman.

Ibrahim is standing perpendicular to a table and performing the pas atras. There are two tables in the room, with an open space between them. The sighted dancers dance between the two tables, while the blind dancers hold onto the tables and use them as orientation points.

Sabine is standing in front of a table while the last steps of the “El Doce” figure are explained. Michèle demonstrates this by holding her legs and turning, while also positioning her shoulders in the correct direction.
