Dancing Without Borders: Motor Development for Children with Visual Impairments
At #danceisblind, we believe that everyone, regardless of their limitations, deserves the opportunity to move, explore, and grow.
That’s why we are committed to the motor development of children and young people with visual impairments – a group that, unfortunately, still often faces a lack of opportunities and suitable programs.
With the support of the Nike Community Impact Fund, we are bringing our mission to Limburg: making movement accessible to children with visual impairments. Through dance – guided by touch and sound – we create a safe and stimulating environment where these children can develop their motor skills while having fun. We call on everyone to support, share, and promote this initiative. Together, we can ensure that children with visual impairments get moving, both literally and figuratively. For whom?
Primarily for children with visual impairments between 7 and 14 years old. But brothers, sisters, and friends are also welcome.
What? A fun dance class with trendy music where having fun is the main focus.
